AllBIMclass: One BIM classification system for Revit, Archicad, and IFC

1. Preliminary Works and Site Preparation
AllBIMclass™ includes a full set of classifications for early-stage construction activities, such as topographic surveys (Total Station, GNSS, LiDAR, DEM), geotechnical and hydrological studies, excavation works, slope protection systems, and temporary or auxiliary site installations. This node ensures proper classification from the very first phase of any project.

2. Architecture and Building Projects
This node provides a comprehensive structure for classifying all building components and systems. It includes structural systems, external envelopes and finishes, internal partitions and finishes, HVAC and utility services, equipment and furniture, landscaping, and temporary facilities. It offers a complete framework for the architectural lifecycle.

3. Civil Engineering and Infrastructure
Designed to support infrastructure projects, this node classifies a wide range of public works, including roads and highways, bridges, tunnels, drainage and sewer systems, hydraulic structures, railways, ports, airports, and energy infrastructures. It enables accurate documentation and coordination across all civil engineering domains.

4. Sensors and IoT Devices for Environmental Control
AllBIMclass™ offers a detailed classification system for indoor, outdoor, and mobile sensors: particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM10), gases (CO₂, VOCs, NO₂), temperature, humidity, pressure, noise (dB), and light/radiation (lux, W/m²). It includes power types (non-rechargeable, rechargeable, solar-powered, mains-connected) and data handling (direct reading, internal storage, or IoT transmission).
Interoperability and API integration
AllBIMclass is ready to use in your BIM workflows
AllBIMclass™ is distributed in multiple open formats to ensure seamless integration into your favourite software.
You can download the full classification system in:
● XLSX – for easy editing, filtering, or use in spreadsheets and databases.● PDF – for fast consultation and printing.● TXT – optimized for Autodesk Revit classification imports.● XML – compatible with Archicad classification manager.
Each file is structured to support classification assignment across design, construction, and facility management phases.
AllBIMclass™ is a multi-domain BIM classification system, covering architecture, civil engineering, topography, and IoT environmental monitoring devices, including air quality sensors.

Whether you're working in Revit, Archicad, or exporting IFC files, AllBIMclass™ adapts to your tools and enhances your digital workflows.
AllBIMclass API: smart integration and automation for BIM software
We are currently developing the AllBIMclass™ API, a powerful tool that will allow direct integration of the classification system into your digital platforms.
This API will enable:
● Real-time access to the latest version of the classification system.● Dynamic assignment of classification codes to BIM elements within your software (Revit, Archicad, etc.).● Custom queries to retrieve specific classifications by type, sector, or application.● Integration with databases and dashboards for facility management or digital twins.
Built using RESTful standards and fully documented, the AllBIMclass™ API will maximize interoperability and bring automation, accuracy, and flexibility to your BIM classification workflows.
